I started my copywriting career in January 1998, at The Engine Room Agency in Cape Town, South Africa, and I’m currently working as a freelancer.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with some phenomenal people at agencies that have all shared a passion for creativity and craft.

I’ve worked on brands that have needed a fresh introduction (Morewood Bikes, Newport Shoes), others that have been around for some time (Sunday Times, The Famous Grouse) and some that have wanted to do things, a little differently (The Concierge Hotel, Drambuie).

Ogilvy, FCB, Y&R, Hippocampus, Modern Museum. Where I have worked may have changed, but my focus remains the same: To do great work.

It was in 98’. It still is.
